Weecheetowin Support Services has 4 programs; 

Please note we do not provide counselling; however, we can provide resources for Registered Mental Health providers 

1 - Resolution Health Support Program

Resolution Health Support Program assisting Residential School Survivors and their families 
Including gatherings for the Missing and Unmarked Graves of IRS children

2 - Cultural Support Provider Program

Cultural Support Provider program is directed to ensure that Residential School Survivors and their family members cultural needs are supported 

3 - Indian Day School (IDS) Survivors Program 

Indian Day School (IDS) Survivors Program addresses and supports the mental health concerns for IDS survivors and their family members, and supports the IDS and their family member(s) through the Federal Indian Day School Settlement Agreement process

4 - Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG)

Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG) program* provides support to families who have been impacted by the loss of a family member who is missing or was murdered. 

WSS provides Health and Cultural Support Services such as:
•    Providing support to families who may attend court and/or family hearings
•    Attending commemorative events and provide health support during these gatherings
•    Providing support during virtual meetings, gatherings and events
•    Community outreach to educate organizations, agencies and in
dividuals about our services


*This is not limited to women, it does also include 2SLGBTQQIA 

5 - First Nations Child and Family Services and Jordan’s Principle Settlement
 

The first Claims Period for the First Nations Child and Family Services and Jordan’s Principle Settlement opened on March 10, 2-25. Class members from the Removed Child Class and the Removed Child and Family Class can submit a claim for compensation.
